Craig Stobo is a well known and respected authority on global economies and how the current financial crisis will affect 'baby' boomers in the future. Craig completed a BA (Hons) degree graduating with First Class in Economics from Otago University in 1981;and is also a 2004 graduate of Wharton Business School’s Advanced Management Programme at the University of Pennsylvannia in Philadelphia USA. He has worked as a NZ diplomat for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as economist and investment banker for Zealcorp Financial Ltd and Bankers Trust NZ Ltd.

In 2004 he chaired the Tax Review “Towards Consensus on the Taxation of Investment Income”, which reported in October 2004 to Dr Cullen, the NZ Minister of Finance, on much needed taxation reforms for the savings and investment industry in NZ. His recommendations were passed into legislation with effect from 2007. Craig is currently Chairman and on the Board of a number of high profile commercial organizations such as AMP Huami Management Ltd, and holds the position of Chairman and shareholder of Saturn Portfolio Management Ltd, an independent investment advisory business.

When I went through my mid-life crisis a couple of years ago, I went into Real Estate just for something different as I had been in IT Recruitment for the past 20 odd years and needed a change when my business partner decided to move offshore to the Gold Coast.
